Windows just keeps loading in the splash screen the harddrive spins but nothing.
Safe mode doesn't work, last knows config also. I have two partitions and I can't re-format. Important data.
When I try to reinstall it stays stuck while examining disks.
I tried recovery console fixboot but not the fixmbr - don't want to loose data.
Try loading the HD into a working system as a secondary drive and try to read data off of it. If it doesn't work then it may be nonworking. If it does work, then backup everything, buy a new HD and reload your data.
